• Dietary preferences: Your dietary identity (e.g. Halal, Kosher, Vegan), chosen cuisines, and fitness goal.
• Body stats: Age, gender, height, weight, and activity level — used to calculate your personalized macro targets.
• Usage data: Basic analytics on how you interact with the app (pages visited, features used) to help us improve the product.

How we use your data

• To generate personalized meal plans that match your dietary identity, cuisine preferences, and fitness goals.
• To calculate your daily calorie and macro targets based on your body stats.
• To improve the app and add features that better serve our community.
• We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.

Third-party services

We use trusted third-party services for hosting, authentication, and AI processing. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

Cookies

BiteHaus uses session cookies for authentication — these are necessary to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Local storage is used to save your onboarding progress and app preferences (such as theme).

Data retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your Profile settings. Once deleted, your data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
